can define their future, and can change the world.
Black Women in Michigan Politics is a non-partisan organization primarily composed of current, former, appointed, and elected black women officials. We represent over 200 plus black women across the State of Michigan at the federal, state, and local level. It is the mission of Black Women in Michigan Politics: A Non-partisan Organization to increase and promote the presence of black women in government, corporate, and nonprofit leadership.
Black Women in Michigan Politics will assemble black women from across the state of Michigan to educate, mentor, and find congruent solutions. We will do so by providing the necessary resources and establishing a support system for black women officials. It is our vision to collectively engage, network, and work through policy matters in real time.
